These cheeses carry and reflect the traditions, culture, natural resources and production capacity of each region. The companies of the Italian dairy sector have evolved to master the most advanced technologies, adapting over the years to the reference parameters of the Chinese regulations, thus differentiating their production and meeting the changing needs of local consumers. What is more important is the wide range of Italian dairy products, in line with modern consumer trends. We represent the first front of the Italian food industry and a reference benchmark for Europe.”

Since the signing of the CETA “China-EU Geographical Indication Agreement” in 2020 by China and the EU – where Italy is the most representative country with 26 of the first batch of 100 European landmark products – we have been working on an innovative and systematic cheese promotion campaign in China, introducing to Chinese consumers the 26 Italian Geographical Indications protected by the Agreement, seven of which are cheeses, that are popular and healthy for Italians and Chinese too. In the last few years, we have partnered with several e-commerce platforms and online retailers to present a wide range of Italian food products on the Chinese market, an important part of which is cheese.
