作为百年灵品牌大使的扬·弗罗德诺(Jan Frodeno)，他的“上海一日体验”从现身百年灵南京西路精品店开始，与到场的几位媒体代表分享对百年灵腕表卓越性能及所推崇的生活方式理念的认同，他提到：“精准掌控与突破极限是竞技场与机械腕表的共通之处。但生活在于找到张弛的平衡点。百年灵随性包容的奢华品牌调性就让我十分欣赏。“而当被问到时间与腕表的关联，他说：“我享受每分每秒，正是这些我们投入其中的时刻在塑造着我们。生命中每遇大事、每获殊荣，我都会买块新腕表以作纪念，像是能唤起记忆的载体。”
在豫园品尝了期待已久的非遗小笼包后，他便开始了一场都市骑行(City Ride)。这位曾在北京奥运创造历史的传奇健将，此次以骑行贴近上海脉搏——跨过黄浦江见证历史建筑与摩天楼宇的时空对话，在苏州河畔的咖啡香气中享受满分松弛惬意。当晚，扬·弗罗德诺(Jan Frodeno)出席德国高级自行车品牌Canyon发布会，与现场嘉宾热情交流关于自行车、骑行与运动的主题，粉丝打趣问道：“拥有你的同款，是不是就能变铁人? ”而这位德国铁人也自称被“沪化”了不少。

1. 你和百年灵是如何结缘开始合作的？在合作之前你对这个品牌的认知是怎样的？
How did your partnership with Breitling come about? What was your perception of the brand before collaborating?
Luckily, I met the CEO George Kern on a cycling event, we cycled together and we connected over the love of the analog. While we were all about performance, everything was digital, all the numbers and we have all these fancy bike computers. But in between the biking, we had our analog moments where we’re just disconnecting. I think that was our love that has shaped us. Everything in life is always about time and being faster and the fastest. Whereas here it’s kind of like an appreciation and a beauty that comes to a different light in time.
我很幸运，在一次骑行活动中认识了百年灵首席执行官乔治·科恩(George Kern) 先生，我们因共同喜爱机械制表而相谈甚欢。尽管我们追求性能，周围都是数字化的东西，诸如各种数据信息以及智能骑行装备。但在骑行中，我们更享受那些与数字脱离的、由机械来时计的分秒，也正是这些我们投入其中的时刻在塑造着我们。生活中，人们常与时间赛跑，追求更快甚至最快。但在机械计时的世界里，我们可以得到完全不同于数字化所带来的美感和体验。
2. 在合作过程中，有没有什么让你记忆犹新的时刻或者事件？
Were there any particularly memorable moments or events during your collaboration?
The thing that I’ve always had is that every major event, every major win in life, I have a watch because for me it’s something like a memory to attach to right, like a trophy or something is in the calendar. But for me to have a watch that has a memory, like this is a watch for my last race, for my first world title, for my second, all these special moments that have pieces in my collection that are very dear and close to my memory.
It’s nice because I really to tell the time people look on their phone many times. So, emotion is the one thing that a watch it gives you a feeling of luxury of course but also for me it’s important to attach good memories to every piece.
我向来如此，生命中每遇大事、每获殊荣，我都会买块新腕表。对我来说，腕表就像记忆的载体，类似奖杯，或是日历上的标记。例如这块是我为最后一场比赛买的，还有的腕表分别是为了纪念我的首个世界冠军、第二个冠军，与这些特殊时刻对应的腕表都被收藏起来，是我珍贵的记忆。
现在人们想看时间，大多是看手机。而腕表却不仅仅提供奢华感受，更重要的是还能提供情感联结，每块腕表都能唤起我独特的美好回忆。
3. 你这次来上海有没有去百年灵中国店铺参观，有的话，这里的店铺和人给你留下了什么样的印象？
Did you visit any Breitling boutiques in Shanghai during this trip? If so, what impressions did the stores and people leave on you?
It’s really nice because this whole concept of like inclusive luxury, right? Where people come in and they are welcome. You walk in and it’s not like the old days where you walked in, and you were looked up and down. I was in my sports shoes and came around you greeted me with a hug and there was something there. This is nice. I want to walk into the shop I want to feel received and interested somebody cares. And that to me is something that’s really unique and that frightening takes great care.

4. 我们知道百年灵Endurance PRO很适合极限运动佩戴，在你运动的过程中有佩戴吗？体验如何？日常你还喜欢别的系列吗？
We know the Breitling Endurance PRO is ideal for extreme sports. Have you worn it during your training? How was the experience? Do you have other favourite Breitling collections for daily wear?
It’s really funny because I when I retire now, I ride a lot on the gravel bike and I go on these adventures, right? And all I need to do is I need to be in time to pick up my kids from school. So kind of having this journey it’s really and that’s why I love the Endurance Pro because I have it and I have the white one. I had the red one and another one as well, but the white one is my favourite because I come home from an adventure and it’s just brown and it’s dirty and it’s messy. It’s cool because bright light is such a hard material. So you can really take it on your adventures and it’s something that I’m not how do I say? I’m careful but I’m not worried about it. It’s my companion if I scratch it. Well, that’s the story of an adventure. Yeah. And that’s why I love having it because again it tells me a story when I come home, I try and get all the dirt out.
It always keeps going, right? You never stop and that’s the beauty also with brightening. You see there is always an evolution, there is a next model, there is a new line, there are new concepts. And I think that’s important, right? That you feel something that you can keep going towards because otherwise.
To be honest I love Superocean for its simplicity and now the black and gold is something gold. It’s a tricky color because it can be very out there, and I love it with a black strap because it kind of tones it down a little bit. I also love the Super AVI collection, and I have the I was lucky enough to get A platinum one which is also super understated I like this but then like I say if I go out, I still do sport every day, so the watch I probably wear the most is the Endurance Pro for sure.
现在我退役了，只需按时接孩子放学就行，但我还是常骑砾石公路车去冒险，所以依然很喜欢戴专业耐力腕表(Endurance Pro)。我有红色和其他颜色的，但白色是我最爱。每次冒险回家，表壳上总会沾满棕色的泥垢，看起来脏脏的，但这正是它的魅力所在。腕表所采用轻量化的Breitlight®材质表壳坚固非凡，完全能经受住考验。佩戴时我虽会小心，但不会担忧——即便出现划痕，那也是冒险的印记，它是我的冒险伙伴。回家后清理污渍的过程，就像在重温冒险，这正是让我喜欢的。
进步从不止步，对吧？这就是魅力所在。事物总在演变，就像腕表总有新款、新系列、新概念。有这种追求目标的感觉很重要，否则人生就失去了动力。我很喜欢 超级海洋系列(Superocean)的简约设计，尤其黑金配色。虽然金色很醒目，但搭配黑色表带就低调多了。我还喜欢传奇航空系列(Super AVI) 系列，我有幸得到了一款铂金款，也非常低调。不过因为我每天运动，所以戴得最多的还是专业耐力腕表 (Endurance Pro) 。
5. 你上次来中国是2008年，你对这里的感受有什么不同吗？有什么趣事吗？
Your last visit to China was in 2008. What differences do you feel now? Any interesting stories from this trip?
2012, there were a few more years where we came back, but triathlon didn’t take off the same way that it has taken off now. Like suddenly there is just a huge and coming back, especially Shanghai where I’ve only ever been on a stopover on a flight, the city is so green, so vibrant. People dress cool, there’s great coffee, there’s great food like I’m blown away like I lived in ignorance, I kind of went all places in the world. I thought I’ve been to China, but not this China. It’s really, really been super cool to be here.
Yesterday I tried on Xiaolongbao/dumplings. I tried all sorts of things that I hadn’t tried before. It was an adventure. I do like it without soup and use chopsticks, I use chopsticks, and I figured out apparently you must put a hole in it and the first one I took a bite and she’s like, no, that’s a big hole. That’s too much hole. I’m learning the intricacies.
其实上一次来是在2012年，当时铁人三项运动远没有如今这般风靡。但就在这几年间，这项运动突然迎来了爆发式增长。尤其上海，以前只是我转机途经的城市，已经彻底颠覆了我的认知。绿意盎然、充满活力、人们穿着很酷，还有很棒的咖啡和美食。我发现以前自己对中国的了解太局限了，原来上海就已经那么精彩。
昨天我尝试了小笼包，还吃了不少过去没试过的，感觉像在冒险。我更喜欢吃不带汤的小笼包，要先用筷子戳个小孔，不过第一次我戳的洞太大，他们笑着提醒我，我还需要学习吃它的技巧。
6. 像这次来支持Canyon品牌的落地活动，当然这个和你热爱的运动联系紧密，未来你还会继续参与支持相关的活动来推广铁人三项吗？
You’re here to support Canyon’s launch event, which aligns closely with your passion for sports. Will you continue participating in similar activities to promote triathlon in the future?
Absolutely, this is the idea I’m here for Canyon, but today I’m here for Canyon. I’m here the whole week because I really wanted to try to understand the Chinese market because I have two reasons personally for me. It’s a full circle moment my career started in Beijing and now to come back here is kind of it’s really something where I see triathlon happening and where I see a community growing and the community is really interested in knowing more and so this is where something in the future I would like to be here more and help this community grow.
当然，这就是我为 Canyon 来的原因，今天也正逢其会。我这周都在这儿，就是想深入了解中国市场。对我而言，此行有双重意义。一来这算是职业生涯的圆满时刻，我在北京拿过金牌，如今来中国故地重游。二来见到这里的铁人三项运动蓬勃发展，相关社群不断壮大，而且社群成员求知欲很强。所以，未来希望能更深度参与其中，助力中国铁人三项社群发展壮大。
